Survivor’s Speak

Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice Mission is to lift up the voices of crime survivors.

Last week was an incredible one for healing, meeting new friends, reconnecting with old ones, advocating for a better justice system, and planning the next phase of Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice. We were joined by hundreds of survivors, advocates, community organizations, and elected officials from across the state.

Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice is building a movement to heal together and promote public safety policies that help the people and communities most harmed by crime and violence.

It was a wonderful week, and our efforts went noticed by the Florida media. We’re thrilled to report that we generated more than 150 news stories and TV mentions! This includes 60 pieces of print, web, radio, and TV coverage for the event, elevating Florida crime survivors’ voices and priorities and nearly 90 additional television mentions. The event was featured on more than a dozen TV networks across multiple Florida media markets and captured 1.2 million broadcast views. Attached are links to all the media coverage at the event.  https://spotonflorida.com/northeast-florida/3546566/hundreds-of-crime-survivors-to-rally.html
